This is a great tool. Wish I had something like this a few years ago. Unfortunately, with many learning disabilities there is no blood test that says what the issue is for certain. I can’t tell you how many doctors I brought my daughter to before she was finally diagnosed. She was tested for allergies, vision, hearing, sleep apnea, auditory processing disorder, and finally I brought her to a developmental pediatrician with the stacks of Connor scales and notes from teachers I had accumulated for years. Then she was finally diagnosed…. then the decision to medicate or not? What medication to use? It would have been great to have all the information in one place. Also to have a list of doctors recommended by other parents, coping skills for specific issue associated with ADD; like how to keep her organized, triggers to redirect her back to a task. Then there is everything she needs for school in her IEP. A lot of the information I received was from people I know who have children with ADD/ADHD and looking it up myself. It would have been great to have a site where I could talk to other parents for suggestions/recommendations.
